To handle the increased passenger rush during the upcoming Ugadi festival, South Western Railway has introduced a pair of Special Express trains between Yesvantpur and Hosapete.
Train No. 06533 Yesvantpur–Hosapete Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 6:15 p.m. on March 18 and reach Hosapete at 4 a.m. the following day. On the return journey, Train No. 06534 Hosapete–Yesvantpur Express Special will leave Hosapete at 9 a.m. on March 19 and arrive at Yesvantpur at 7:20 p.m. the same day.
In both directions, the trains will stop at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chikjajur, Chitradurga, Rayadurg, Ballari Cantonment, and Tornagallu stations. Railway officials stated that the service has been introduced to reduce travel congestion during the festive season.
