Couple spends ₹28,000 to carve Siddaramaiah’s image on house door

In Kenchamallanahalli village of Kudligi taluk, Malleshappa Thippeswamy and his wife Parvathi have installed a door featuring a carved image of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

“Parvathamma received ₹30,000 under the Grihalakshmi scheme. We didn’t use it for anything else. From that amount, ₹28,000 was spent on carving Siddaramaiah’s portrait on the new door, as a mark of respect for him,” said Malleshappa.

He added, “We replaced the old door with this one and performed puja since a village festival was underway.”
