The Karnataka State Government has issued an order granting a 50% concession on fines in cases registered under traffic e-challans by the Police Department that remain unpaid.
As per Government Order No: TD 27 TDO 2023, dated 21.08.2025, this concession will be valid from 23rd August 2025 to 12th September 2025. Vehicle owners can clear their pending fines by paying only half of the due amount.
Ways to check and pay pending fines:
- Through the Karnataka State Police (KSP) app
- By providing vehicle registration details at the nearest traffic police station
- At the Traffic Management Centre
- Online via Karnataka One websites
Officials have urged citizens across the state, including those in Hospet, Ballari, Hubballi and other districts, to use this limited-time opportunity to settle their challans.
