Prashant Kumar Mishra Takes Charge as Ballari’s Deputy Commissioner

Prashant Kumar Mishra, a 2014 Karnataka cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has taken on a new role as the Deputy Commissioner of Ballari. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as the Director (Personnel) at the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation in Bengaluru.

According to a recent government notification on Saturday, Prashant Kumar Mishra will be taking over the position of Deputy Commissioner of Ballari, replacing Pavan Kumar Malapati. Mr. Malapati has been transferred and appointed as the Commissioner of Rural Development in Bengaluru, occupying a downgraded post due to an existing vacancy.

The government’s decision to appoint Prashant Kumar Mishra as the new Deputy Commissioner of Ballari comes as a significant development for the district. With his previous experience and expertise as the Director (Personnel) at the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation in Bengaluru, Mr. Mishra is expected to bring fresh perspectives and administrative prowess to his new role.

As these administrative changes take effect, the district of Ballari and the state of Karnataka look forward to witnessing further progress and development under the leadership of these capable civil officers.
