They had tweeted a series of tweets on this issue on Wednesday and said, ‘Throwing a shoe on the famous actor and dear friend Darshan Thoogudeep is the most despicable act. I strongly condemn this. I demand that the police department should trace the perpetrators and punish them severely. He had found a place in the film industry through his own efforts, and achieved great success, and even though he was called D Boss by his fans, he said that Darshan was not at all arrogant. We are with Darshan. Let such an incident never happen again. Zameer Khan said that I have contempt for the evil minds who try to create division in the family of the Kannada nation. Darshan’s fans and pro-Kannada activists protested in different parts of the state, including Davangere, and Gundlupet, to arrest the miscreants who threw slippers at him and to take strict action.
