A new 110 kV power transmission station was inaugurated near Byluvadigeri village, marking a significant boost to the region’s electricity infrastructure. The senior Minister graced the ceremony in the Karnataka State Government, Hon’ble Energy Minister K. J. George, who inaugurated the facility.
The programme was presided over and coordinated by H. R. Gaviappa, who played a key role in organising the event.
Several dignitaries, public representatives, officials from various organisations, and members of farmer associations were present on the occasion. A large number of farmers and local residents participated, contributing to the success of the event.
The new transmission unit is expected to enhance power reliability and support the growing energy needs of the surrounding rural areas.
